Thistledown, July 16

Continuing my Track of the Day , here we are at Thistledown in Cleveland.These smaller tracks are tough to predict but I'll give it the old college try.

All bets are Win-Place.If I see a scratch that I have time to make a change, I will.If I miss it, then it won't count, just a non-bet.

My choice for Music To Bet By, is "Golden Brown" by the Stranglers, one of Britain's more popular 1970's punk rock bands.They went all mellow for this tune, which became a big hit in the UK in 1982. The band's lead singer later admitted it was about heroin, which he had used in the band's early days.Love that harpsichord!
