Minnesota flipping?

As much as I'd love to see it happen, it won't.

I remember talking to a cousin of mine that lives in the twin cities before the 2016 election. She said trump had a real shot at beating Hilary. My cousin voted for Hilary but said obamacare was turning people towards trump.

Mn went to hrc, handily as I recall.

You just have to be there to understand the place. It's unique. Like Texas it's very diverse, every part of the state is different from the other.... but the DFL party is very deeply rooted. I just get the feeling the DFL stronghold won't let go of their commitment to the dem party when election night comes, one way or another.

Another struggle. People there believe the press there more than any region I've ever seen. The star tribune was very liberal leaning, not sure if that changed, but my relatives (mostly dem) biggest issue with the electorate there was that if the paper ran an op ed, it was truth and gospel. Most of it was liberal leaning.

Just my $.02 fwiw

she won the state by a mere 40k votes.

Thank you, GMB. Looked it up, she had 46%, Trump 44%.

If MN goes red in 2020, only 10 or so EVs go to Trump. Really hard for me to believe. Everyone up there I spoke with (in, and outside of relatives) were voting for Kerry. Then Obama, Then HRC, but their commitment to HRC was about like mine to Trump... hold your nose and pull the lever. Maybe their commitment is waning, hoping so. Trump has a track record, it exceeds what most expected

Then I wake up to the fact in 16-20 years, maybe less, Texas turns blue. That'll be hard to overcome.

No one with a brain paid any attention to HIS crap, either.

Keep watching those polls, Danny - remember election night, 2016?
