MOUNT OLYMPUS (PP) ran well in debut at Gulfstream dueling for the lead in a key race but was outrun in his last dirt start over a sloppy track in his NY debut last month; trainer Michael Maker has strong numbers with these double-drops and the drop makes sense since he was in for $35k in debut. Gets a key rider change and might be quicker than the 3/5 morning line favorite Somebody, who is in good form but is once paced.
DISTORTED NEWS (PP) dueled for the lead against the bias along a dull rail in debut, shook off one rival then was hooked by the sharp 4/5 favorite and finished 4th in a respectable debut; drops in for a $75k tag and should benefit from that debut!
