I play virtually 0 horses 1st time against winners. I'm philosophically opposed to the idea of betting the 9/5 :1:
A case can be made for I'm listening the :2:. A 12-1 longshot in a 6 horse field.
I can forgive a lot of things on a horse with only 11 starts. I get there from the mixed track conditions and distances she's seen in limited starts. Her Timeform #'s are better than her beyers. Its a cutback. Trainer is 20% 1st off the claim from a big 51 horse sample.
The last fast track she's seen at Laurel she was 2nd to Lady Vicki. Lady Vicki won that race, and her next two. I'm listening was 3 1/4 clear of show horse.
I've sufficiently convinced myself that the :2: is a race horse.
