Along the same lines, bet the horse if the jockey flew in from his/her regular track and his/her record is higher than 15% AND has only 1 or 2 mounts today. They wouldn't waste travel money or time...

And don't overlook that for each horse, their late speed was getting better or peaking in the last couple of races. That helps too.
