That article you linked to wasn't about the actual delivery of cash to Iran...it looks like it was for another deal/situation/money conversion/whatever.
Did I read that right? I mean, I'm an idiot first and foremost, so you will have to forgive me.
Thus, I will keep asking my question until I get an answer.
Why did we have to send them actual CASH MONEY in the 21st century?
There HAS to be a reason for this other than "oh well, we couldn't find any way to wire them the money, so we spent all this EXTRA money loading it on planes and helicopters and whatever and essentially air dropping it over there."
