I outsmarted myself in that last post by inserting the debut import over
a horse that should have been listed as a play.
Back in the day, I used to pick a lot of winners using debut imports off a
winning qualifier. The current crop of imports do leave a lot to be desired.
My favorite import was a horse called Oreiti.
Tonight’s race at the Meadowlands, I am going to see if I can outsmart myself
again.
The first run eliminated Deep Impact because it did not pass the 7-10 post test.
The early version of the program tested posts 8-10.
Second run allowing post seven produced the printout below.
The rating 66 following Deep Impact name is a new HPLAY CLASS RATING which I have been using of late. Adding that figure to the Schedule has produced six out
of the last seven HPLAY/BTA/ACT winners. The only loser was a F&M race which should not have been listed.
I believe this is a good handicap after seeing that MY CHERRY PIE is a Mare.
