Another GENIUS example of how the dying sport of horse racing is trying to attract new fans despite the fact that takeouts are high compared to other gambling options! I go to my local casino and park for free, enter for free and get free drinks. "Go, baby, go"
I will enjoy the attacks of my posts from the fools that refuse to ignore how the sport is dying and refuse to learn from the sports past mistakes on how fans are poorly treated! I especially find the comparisons to what it costs for attending other sporting events especially moronic! Do I need to wager on those other sporting events I attend to make them interesting?
How many of you attend races without wagering and just enjoy watching the horses race so, in your opinion, it is worth it to pay the parking and entrance fees to a racetrack??? I will look forward to anybody answering that question!
The Derby is over so now the sport can go back to being insignificant. After all, papers no longer cover the sport and it will continue on with its' slow death. Keep raising the costs to attend horse racing because everybody knows, raising prices is the best way to attract new fans to a sport!
Lastly, HORSE RACING NEEDS THE MONEY"?? I guess the high takeout on wagering isn't enough for horse racing that "needs the money"
? RAISING ENTRANCE AND PARKING FEES IS THE ANSWER? SERIOUSLY??
