nothing wrong with the suggestion that someone may have taped the conversation. Note that he never said that HE was doing the taping. It could have been NSA surveillance, etc that Trump was referring to when he made the statement. Most here jump on the Nixon analogy, but Trump was less than specific. I think Trump should be nominated for the trolling HOF for his job on this issue. He has gotten the left in such a tizzy that the public is now tired of talking about it and assumes that whatever the outcome, it's simply politics as usual. Trump has won on this issue guys by creating a sh!tstorm over it. The opposite of what most people at risk would do.
The art of the deal can be accomplished in many ways. For all his faults (and he has many), Trump ain't no dummy, and anyone who thinks he's a rube is in for a lesson.
