The President never promised single payer, it can not be done here. Costs are 5 times greater in this country and nothing is ever going to bring them down, that is just the ugly truth. What the President offered was better than ACA in the fact the products offered in policy's did not have to have everything included as mandatory. Today those products are available at less costs than the ACA, that is now as good as it gets. What you guys want has to be enacted by the congress and it is a sure bet that there will never be the votes for it. Reality is what it is, ACA is gutted with no mandate to buy it and you are free to buy lesser at cheaper costs. In addition cooperatives are opening everywhere at a fraction of the monthly cost and everything is done there without the cost of hospitals, independent of them.
