Whatever the government is over there, it sound pretty darn authoritarian and controlling to me. The parents and their child are literally prisoners in their own country. And for what high crimes or misdemeanors? What are their horrible crimes against society -- that they want to do all they can for their child.
Whatever the the British government is over there -- whatever label you want to put on it -- it is
despicable. I share Wisconsin's heartfelt sentiments. I am at once angry at the government and deeply sorrowed for the plight of the parents and their child.
