So because the casino is overcharging the players, make the dealers suffer? People who are paid 9 bucks an hour and didn't have anything to do with the decision of the casino to up the rake?
That's basically a classic compulsive gambler response to this situation. If they increase the rake, don't play! And encourage others not to play either. THAT is the only action that affects the casino's bottom line. But we can't do that, because we have to gamble. So we'll punish the dealers instead.
