I was an inside/outside salesmen for an electric supply house in about the same era out of East La. I just had to turn in an itinerary where I had been, I coincidentally worked the area around the track on race days.
Since I did well I had a long leash, until one day I had a falling out with a girlfriend who became very vindictive. She called the business owner who was fine with proudly cheating on his wife, but against drinking and gambling, that ended the party, was fun while it lasted.
