Before the revolution, Iran sent an advance payment of $400,000,000 to the US for some fighter jets. When the Shah was deposed, the US cancelled delivery of the planes, but kept the money.

Throughout the 1980's Iran gave the United States about $1 billion back for losses and account settlements.
France paid them back for arms shipments in the early 90's. I can't remember when the UK settled some accounts but a couple years later I believe.
