There actually a rule in Nebraska and I suspect in other states on how many cars can make a left turn the yellow. Here it is 3. If your the 4th car through and you get hit, it your fault. If you are the 3rd car though, it is the other guys fault. JustRalph can probably tell you more about the rule in other states.
