If you really want to see the difference in socal to east coast racing in regards to turf look at the 10th race. a maiden race for grass horses, full overflow field but there is not one really well bred turf horse, in fact the best bred horses are dirt horses who have flopped.
There is no one out west buying turf bred horses, heck at Lrl or Arl there is better bred horses. It just feels like one could buy stock from other parts of the country and ship in and win these very lucrative races.
