No idea Andy. Maybe people are tired of the hassle of going to the track or OTB's. I used to absolutely love going to the track or OTB's now I look at it as an extra expense. I live 20 minutes from Del Mar and have all the free passes to park and get in and my buddy has a box that I can sit in any time but I still don't go. This Saturday will be my first time of the meet. As far as OTB's go
www.striders.com is a Sports Bar downtown that is closest. It's a nice place but sitting there all day gets boring and expensive. I usually play California first and sometimes a late P5 at one of the other major tracks. The food and bar tab usually runs somewhere between $100 and $300 depending on how many of my friends are there and how much I drink.
