Race 2 Brave Legend (7-2) Leaped as soon as the gates opened and spotted the field at least 2 lengths, raced 2 wide in the turn for home and with more than 450 metres left Ho started getting into him. Closed in the lane but ran into traffic issues at the 50 metre mark and was forced to be taken up even though he was never going to get up for the money places, he galloped out well past the wire. It’s his first try at the marathon distance at the city course and was unlucky at the draw drawing the 7 post with the very short run into the first turn, tough race.
Race 8 Jade Theatre (8-5) Broke well and raced mid-pack 2 wide down the backside, when he straightened up in the stretch he lacked running room. then at the 170 mark he forced his way thru two runners but then was taken out with less than 50 metres to go when Fairy Twins drifted in and bumped Victory Machine into Jade Theatre.
