Jump Jockey
How many sports have an ambulance that follows the competitors round? Sometimes more than six races a day, travelling all over the country, regularly taking falls from horses jumping fences up to 5ft high at 30mph. All the time having to eat very little to keep weight down. Serious injuries commonplace and deaths occur. Tony McCoy was our champion jump jockey for an amazing 20 years on the trot.
