Best info for Drivers and Trainers would be Trackmaster's Player Club 'Statsmaster'
You might have to register but it's free.

https://www.trackmaster.com/free/statsmaster/har

For post positions (last year) post 5 Win% was 21% Post 1 and 4 are good, 15%

Dayton Raceway was built a few years ago and is without a passing lane.

Interesting enough, Hollywood planned a one mile thoroughbred oval for Dayton and proposed a harness track near Youngstown. The site could not accommodate a one mile track so a 5/8 harness track went in and Youngstown got the thoroughbred oval. This turned out to be a brilliant move as the Central/Southwest Ohio circuit was formed. Scioto runs in the summer 70 miles from Dayton, Dayton in fall/early winter and Miami Valley (30 miles down the road) in the late winter/early spring.

Dayton typically has the lowest purse structure of the three tracks and the Ohio sired stakes have been completed. Dan Noble and Chris Page are the top drivers although Trace Tetrick and Peter Wrenn will come in when Hoosier is not running. Aaron Merriman will come down from Cleveland if Northfield and Meadows are dark. Give extra weight to any horse these five might drive. Jeremy Smith (off to a good start) and Kayne Kauffman are good longshot drivers.

Pools are low so you might get underpaid or overpaid. It seems Northfield is the only Ohio track that has a widely exported signal.

Thanks Ray2000 & 1GCFAN. All that info is great! 1G -- I already noticed the riding ability of Jeremy Smith. With your info I'll look to use him. Thanks

Thru Oct. 1st, Dan Noble has a 33-27 lead over Jeremy Smith in the Dayton standings. Then its back to Josh Sutton, Chris Page, and Tyler Smith.

For 2018 at all tracks: Dan Noble has 480 (4th), Chris Page 391 (8), Tyler Smith 219, Jermey Smith 214, and Josh Sutton 188.

Jeremy Smith had a six bagger today picking up some rides that might have went to Page who will very likely be at Northfield on Monday nights.

Josh Sutton, a very aggressive driver could catch fire at any time. He is in a slump after finishing 8th in the nation during 2016 with 550 wins.

Gonna be tough sledding for the local boys this winter. I've heard Brett Miller will be returning and a few east coast guys after Chester closes. Gonna be super competitive for drives this winter.
