The government is looking at regulating new gas stoves to make them safer. No one is coming into your home and removing your gas stove. And no one is going to stop you from buying a gas stove.
2. Andrea Mitchell addressed this the very next day and played the extra footage. Nothing was doctored. Romney said exactly what MSNBC said he said. The only thing MSNBC Left out is that Republicans think business is better than government. Do we really need to hear that again.
Besides, that story is from more than six years ago.

Looks like one judge struck down a ban already in place. I thought the California wide ban by 2030 was already in place. It is definitely true that a ban on piping gas into new construction is already being phased in. It could be some are now being litigated.
Once again Cliffy, you are spreading misinformation and lies gathered from your "trusted" sources. When I post links I try to use left leaning sites so you won't instantly discredit the source.
People like you and your ilk disgust me, as you pass on lies like nothing, anyone who listens to your sources without fact checking become dumber by the day. I am sure you are ignoring the fact that forcing people away from using natural gas is going to impact everyone financially in a negative way.
I should just say I don't care, because I have an electric stove. Even if I didn't I could do any job, even the extreme ones required to install the biggest power hog electric stove on the market. I could do what an electrician and carpenter would charge $6,000 for, for a measly $500.
True some people if they were lucky could get away with paying only $500,
but that isn't going to be the average case.
I honestly think the average person thinks you can just plug an electric stove into the nearest wall socket. My pro electric stove friend in California thinks so.
