You say that you were married when she was 16...but you neglected to mention how long you had dated prior to the marriage...and how old the young girl was when you initiated your "sexual lives" together. If you "dated" for a few years, and you started "making out" when you were 32 and she was 14...then you should have been locked up, IMO.

I was there 40 years ago...and the notion that 30 year-olds should hang around with grammar-school kids was never really "encouraged". Unless you lived in Pakistan.

He's willing to share a story, putting aside any concerns as to what others may think. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, where you assume the worse. At least your reply strikes me that way.

Best I can recall we socialized for a couple of months. She then moved in with me for a couple of months after which we got married. All this took place while she was 16. She finished High School while we were married. He Father was a alcoholic and her Mother worked multiple jobs to survive. This left her basically unsupervised. Her Mother was OK with our relationship. Her Father didn't give a damn. I believe that I brought discipline to her that was missing in her life.

And I never criticized you for posting anything.
My feelings are that had he felt any guilt over it, he never would have posted anything about it. You're the one that seemed to find guilt in it, nobody else did.
