What was on the track in the Ogden Phipps?

Something lying on the track on the turn, just before the stretch- fortunately toward the middle so outside the flow of the race,
Looked blue?

Watching on Dish so no back up to look again.
Have to see the replay.

I couldn't find anything even on the head on. You sure it was the Phipps? (Midnight Bisou)

I don't know what it is but it's not laying on the track. If you look closely it is on it's own post near the rails. May be a Trakus thing.

Oh, I didn't see the pole under it. On TV, it looked like something on the dirt. Never aw it before - maye NBC camera is a bit off what we normally see.

Or, it's time to give up the opiods!

May have 'chalked' some guidelines for those wing gliders who performed later in the program, that was Saturday, right? Most of them landed around the finish line, however...could still be visual guides?
