to look at the potential cause of that problem.
Conservatives refuse to do this.
They simplify it by labeling it as just another threat against them.

Actually, I do. How about this issue regarding education? I think we can all agree education is important for equal opportunity and lack of education may be a contributing factor for crimes being committed.
Why are dems trying to block access to charter schools to the black population and keep them in poorly performing public schools?

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation Uniform Crime Report database, in 2010 58.6% of reported hate crime offenders were white, 18.4% of offenders were black, 8.9% were of individuals of multiple races and 1% of offenders were Native Americans. The report also reveals that 48% of all hate crime offenders were motivated by the victim's race, while 18% were based on the victim's religion, and another 18% were based on the victim's sexual orientation.[73] The report states that among hate crime offenses motivated by race, 70% were composed of anti-black bias, while 17.7% were of anti-white bias, and 5% were of anti-Asian or Pacific Islander bias

Outdated and irrelevant. The study I posted is from the DOJ and deals specifically with black-on-white crimes and vise versa and is much more recent. the DOJ study is not a "hate crime" study per se. It's scope is purposely more restrictive.

As for reparations, the idea has been tossed around by liberals for decades, and its still a joke as its always been. Morons like Al Sharpton keep it alive just to stir shit like he does with everything else he spews. Sharpton's the real racist because he uses skin color to base his claim. Jews and other ethnic groups have been persecuted far worse...but of course they're white. They're not crying either.
Any black person you can find that was enslaved and is still alive maybe deserves something. I'll even throw in some spare change. Any others alive now that suffered nothing, deserve nothing.
