MEADOWLANDS - SATURDAY - 28DEC19
Something different tonight at Meadowlands, a full card visual handicap.
In my old age I have not done this in awhile.
Note: a visual handicap is a lot different than what I have been doing with
my computer handicap. With the computer the factors are locked in, whereas
a visual handicap gives you the full range of factors.
A GOOD HANDICAPPER CAN READ BETWEEN THE LINES.
PRINTOUT ATTACHED...

RESULTS
Decent handicap:
Five top winners, two top exacta's: $26 & $140
That was fun, but I am getting to old to do that much work.
When I was working the track, I handicapped thousands of full cards.
Sportsmans Park used to run double headers on Saturdays. They ran
most of the week with huge crowds day and night on Saturdays.
During the winter Balmoral & Aurora also ran double headers on Saturday,
four cards and the tracks were a hundred miles apart.
At that time the programs were printed by the Racing Form.
They produced large sheets at least six feet by six feet. They were taken
to a binder, who folded and stapled them.
I lived near the binder and would go there to pick up the four programs for
Saturday at Balmoral and Aurora. This was at 5:00 am, I then had to produce the four tip sheets by 9:30 and get them to the tracks.
It was tough to get programs in those days, it would have been much easier if today's program service was available back then.
The good old days.

END OF YEAR - END OF THREAD
Well, this year did not turn out as expected.
Started with $1000, ended up with $581.15,
loss of $418.85.
I am going to visit Leroy The Juice and borrow
$500 to start next year with $1000 bankroll.
Take the loss and start over.
I have a new Hplay Schedule (that's not new)
I have been trying for years to add Pandys
Diamond program with Hplay The Program. That would add a
pace figure that my program does not contain.
Recent results do show lots of promise.
The Schedule will be posted in the new thread.
The new thread will starts after Yonkers races a week
or two.
I appreciated you stopping by...
it's important to always think positive
and have fun at the races.
**HAPPY NEW YEAR**
HWIG
