Greg, you should have Toby Keith's, "How do you like me now?" playing in the background on your website.

Figured I'd take a stab at the pick-4's @ Aqueduct today--hope they run. First open the EXOTIC BETS! program---get the TIP SHEET...gotta have that

Since the pick-4's start with race 2--click on race 2 and get all 4 handicapped cards to make selections with.

I have not personally looked at the included past performances at all--since I'm not even sure they are going to run today.

I made my selections based on a consensus of the 4 handicap "modes" cards...plus always get any VALUE PLAYS in there.

So I end up with (before scratches) a $27 ticket and an $18 ticket--both early and late pick-4's. Keep in mind, I have done no handicapping of my own--and actually you're doing very well if you can hit 1 out of 4 or 5 of these.
Trainers, jockeys, horses are just numbers at this point--bias', golden rails, coconut-head jockeys and possible "altered" races have no bearing on any decisions.

Another thing--without actually handicapping--I have no real idea of any singles on the card.

Everything prints out in the Exotic Program. I seriously urge anyone that goes out to the track or OTB - to learn to use the snipping tool in windows. You can have all 4 handicapped "modes" on one sheet.

I'm the type I like to see everything lined up--for easy comparison. That's what drove me to come up with these programs---looking at PP's on a monitor, bouncing from one page to the next, scrolling up and down--I knew there had to be an easier way.

The Tip Sheet already prints on 1 page--nothing extra to do but hit the print button.

Good luck

PRN method

Here's an interesting little method from the Phillips Racing News. If you're like me and enjoy quick paper and pencil methods---you'll enjoy this monthly newsletter.

I'll give the method first--then the selections it picked from Hawthorne.

1. ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3 STARTS

2. WRITE DOWN THE TRAINER'S WIN %

3. SUBTRACT THE HORSE'S SECOND-BACK FINISH POSITION

4. NOW ADD THE HORSE'S 3RD BACK SPEED RATING--EITHER BEYER OR BRIS.

HIGHEST TOTAL IS YOUR SELECTION.

Here are today's picks from Hawthorne using this method:

1ST WISHIHADA

2ND PONTOTOC QUEEN

3RD POWERSTRETCHER

4TH YES I WIN

5TH KONZA CHROME

6TH BE GOOD TO US

7TH LITTLE IKE

8TH FORT LEWIS RIVERS

9TH TALL GRASS CAT

Just happened to check the SANTA ANITA CONSENSUS from the Exotic program...anyone that read my newsletter might remember this little tip I gave out:

"One quick EXOTIC technique that works well--especially @ Santa Anita...is to check the CONSENSUS for any non-maiden "price" horses ranked number 1. "

Saw PEARL DE VERE top ranked...just got a bet down with seconds to spare:

Pearl de Vere $12.80 $5.40 $3.80
