the 3/5 exacta won. $1 track payout was $4.90

bet 1 won. since bet 1 had only two horses, one being the winner (top horse) the 5 became a cold exacta bet returning $4.90 on the dollar. delete $1 for losing play #2, the net return on the play was $3.90. the $1 win bet returned only $2.40. the play outperformed the win bet by 163%. of course it's your job to pick the winner, I just supply the place horse and bet size

a bit wordy but that's the story

yeah I'm just wasting time on a sunday night. Extra cash in my account from churchill. Figured I'd watch Mark and Nancy for old times sakes. I pretty much quit racing.

3/4 exacta wins

without the math backup

$1 win bet returns $4.70, my return , bet 2 was $8.15 less $1 for bet 1

outperforming the win return by 173%

my wheels always fall off when I force bet races.

Back to waiting around for full fields and playing 1-5 races a week.
