all i care about is that the exotics will be juiced in a big way if he's itm.
The horse will be on my tickets. I just think you bumped your head expecting to get 40-1 on the horse. Which he’d be as the 5th or 6th longest odds.

amazing wut the boys @ tosco hype train can do....well that and a good workout where peeps land on their KD horse or jump from one horse to another based off of it.

i mean,..lets get serious,..this is a hopeful long shot. not a "major contender if right" like click says

but if u give me a few more days to spin things i'm sure i can knock down his odds even more

bad start in good weather, now 1-hole

You'll need every bit of 20-1 to make this even a consideration.

Anyone coming around to the possibility that he's going to be on the lead?

Maybe I'm missing something.

Success came on the lead. His misfire came when he both had a minor issue along with some off-the-pace tactical experimentation. Owner is sporting, and seems to be proactive and aggressive in similar scenarios. The other E and E/P types aren't flexing huge pace numbers. Add in the aggressive, sharp workouts.

Just seems dead obvious.

I know that horses get lost in the convo, but I think I've read three or four others in this forum mentioned on the pace, but not War of Will.

Am I missing something?

Here's what Casse said: "...We'll probably be on the lead. I think we'll probably be on the lead and play catch me if you can. And you know if we come away from there like he normally does, we're going to come away from there running..."

I don't think he's fast enough but it sounds like he's gonna go for it. Could liven the pace a little.

He quickly went from a must use underneath to a borderline super/toss candidate.

I'm disappointed at WoW's draw but that's a given. He's the horse I was most looking forward to seeing run the derby, wish he got a bit of a fairer shake. But it's better than the far outsides. I'm not tossing him based on post albeit it's conflicting not to.

Perhaps the post will lengthen his odds, upside for me.

I don't think he's a "wise guy" horse.

Historically, posts #6 and some others have done much worse, I don't have it in front of me, but #1 is not by any means the worst post out of the bunch.

When was the last time a horse won the derby from the 1 hole?

Interesting. It's easy to overlook those types of stats (that make the conventional opinion insignificant when you do a real comparison).

Where I'm going to put my money says I really don't think WoW will have problems with being sent or that the 1 puts him at more risk of traffic problems than any other position. Definitely my upset pick and using him FTW on a ticket or two.

If it's muddy it just benefits WoW with less ground going for lead from there especially when any of those horses could have a rough go dealing with mud in their face anyway.
