The Gus Fonner Stakes
Laddie Boy Be nice, Jay. He is horrible.
Pain and Misery The second choice in the ML and why? Too slow early and late. Toss.
Last Bad Habit Has the same trainer as the . Looks to be in the race as a rabbit to me. Toss.
Rock City Roadhog Might be the horse if they try to set it up. All the other horses have local jockeys and this guy gets Erik McNeil to come in and ride. Interesting at 6-1.
Go Gold Finished 3rd in last, but do not let that fool you. Did nothing and got a great trip. Out.
Coal Truth Dowd Mile winner comes back for his second start at the track. Not sure he is really that good. Underneath.
Deep Explorer Thinking third best horse here, depends on the pace.
Hollywood Critic Diodoro moves in to try and steal the purse. Solid runner and is a contender.
Smarty Party Papa Tried to wire the Dowd Mile and went way to fast early. If the does not send with him, he is all alone up front and can go along ways. The pick at 10-1.

You cotdam right.
The race we have all been waiting for this Spring. The 3 turn 1 mile and a 16th Bosselman Gus Fonner Stakes.
Rock City Roadhog - Distance is the question. He is also a 9YO so his best days are likely behind him. ML of 6/1 is intriguing, and I suspect he'll be 10 to 12/1 come post time.
Pain and Misery - Defending champ hasn't done much since last year's romp.
Deep Explorer - Dirt? Sure, why not. Gets some class relief here as well. Could easily win.
Coal Truth - Won the "prep" in the Dowd Mile 2 weeks ago. 4YO is getting better to round out the Super.

Too much rain to plant corn today so I’ll be in attendance as well.
Diodoro horse is hard to look past but I’ve watched horses ship here from Oaklawn before and not handle the turns well.
Smarty Party Poppa looks to be the lone speed. If Armando can ration that speed today he will have a 30 mph tailwind pushing him home at good odds. Problem is, I don’t think the horse can ration it’s speed.
The looks like it will be a one paced horse that could hang for 3rd.
I had the in his last race and was there to watch him in person, he handled the turns well and took advantage of the pace. Will do the same today.
Pain and Misery has similar form to the last time he shipped in here to blow the field away. Maybe it’s the Bute, maybe it’s the bull ring, or maybe it’s that sweet central Nebraska air but I see a repeat here today.
and could clunk into the tri or super if others decide not to run today.
Thinking I will throw the Diodoro out of the win/place spot since he will be 1-5 on the tote.
