The majority of Americans do not want to fund Ukraine aid, next get rid of Addison Mitchell McConnell III

So far, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise have both announced that they will run for speaker. Oklahoma Rep. Kevin Hern is also weighing a bid.

Jordan has made clear his opposition to additional Ukraine aid and reiterated it Wednesday. “The most pressing issue on Americans’ minds is not Ukraine, it is the border situation and crime on the streets and everybody knows that,” Jordan told reporters.

Camp Casey? Down near Pusan? I was at Camp Henry/CampWalker near Taegu, about ten yers after you. I enjoyed my time in South Korea. Not so great if you were stationed near the DMZ.

What made it work for me I was 19-20 old, a great group of guys, had a desk job as a draftsman with some wonderful korean people. Made the football team and played. Made the baseball team but was not allowed to play. Went to the see the chaplin and ask him to intercede. He basically told me "you're in the army now". Oh well back to the drafting board!!. And ofcourse, no military action that so many others less fortunate had to endure.

Trump backs Jim Jordan

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former US president Donald Trump is backing Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, the pugnacious House Judiciary Committee chairman and longtime Trump defender, to succeed Kevin McCarthy as House speaker.

Some sence and balance brought back to the republican party. SCALISE is the new speaker of the house. There is much I don't agree with him on, but I believe he puts the country first. About time.

Best to try working with reality. It is what it is, until it isn't .the Democrats and the Republicans will always be here for as long as we have a republic. It's the MAGA people that seem to see things counter to senceability.
