Key Races & Bets for Saturday 8/25

I hope a few people made some money last week. Not the greatest but Fashion Business & Fatale Bere (and a ridiculously good exacta over favorite Ollie's Candy) worked out nicely.

This weekend's action on the Amwager blog includes the Travers (of course) & Sword Dancer, the Play the King at Woodbine and a horse at Del Mar from my personal "horses to watch" list. On the Keeneland Select blog I took a look at the Smarty Jones Stakes, which gets overlooked on Travers Weekend but which has been a great betting race in many recent years.

Also my Del Mar free play of the day link is below, which I'm hopeful is heating up after nailing Exotic Ghost at $44 on Wednesday.

As always, these blogs and picks are free.

Good Luck!

I hope many of you made some money on Glorious Empire and Catholic Boy. I want to thank both horses for cooperating with my analysis, and especially want to thank Julien Leparoux and Javier Castellano for masterful rides.
