Bills appear to have made a good choice.
This guy Josh Allen is known as a 'measurables' guy. He's the right size, can throw the ball as far as anyone, and is a good athlete for QB.
Underneath all that I actually see a good ballplayer.
He's very raw right now.
Decides to run too soon into progressions.
Timing and touch, and relaxing in balance in the pocket are a bit elusive to him.
Firing off all these throws on the run or when he just lands into a throwing position. Great skill to have, but also times to be centered and relaxed, in control of the space.
Throwing motion is slightly unorthodox (3/4 arm motion), but that's fine.
He also missed some games mid-season last year with an elbow issue, which is scary. Seems to have fully recovered.
The Bills have a tough task in their division, and still finding a roster.
Seems like they brought in several new good football men in this off-season, in order to capitalize on landing Allen.
Maybe they have someone who actually understands football and weren't just lucky in trying to get a 'measurables' guy?
Flip a coin.
He could develop into a pretty good QB. Already entertaining to watch.
