9/7/16 IND R1 CLM 5K, 1M DIRT (2:05)
8 CITRUS MISS 3-1
1 DITTY 7-5
5 BLEW BY TOO 4-1
7 ENSONADOR 6-1

PICK: 8 CITRUS MISS (3-1)
Deep closer, wide trip in last, was finishing strongly to get up for 3rd. Makes only her 3rd start at this lower level. Think she’ll tuck up on the inside and save ground. She’s taken lengths off of better runners in the past. She finally found her friends. Will be firing late.

VALUE: 5 BLEW BY TOO (4-1)
Gets a trainer chance and a rider change to formerly So. Cal. based rider, David Flores. She has pretty good tracking speed and she might get the first run on the deep closers in here. She’ll be square price. Use in exotics.

A) 8
B) 1,5
C) 4,7

4 tracks available today (LRC, LAD, CBY, KD) at link in signature

LRC 9/10/16 R3 CLM 25K, 1M DIRT (2:58)

2 BIG TIRE 3-1
3 AFLEET DOMINATION 10-1
1 ROCKPORT KAT 2-1
5 CITY STEEL 4-1

PICK: 2 BIG TIRE (3-1)
Tried the turf in last and ran the best he’s run on that surface. He appears to be far better on dirt. He was 3rd two back in a key 20k claimer at DMR. That was deep field for the level. Claimed out of that race and goes back to Gonzalez here. Will run late.

VALUE: 3 AFLEET DOMINATION (10-1)
Forget the turf races, he clearly isn’t going to run on that surface. Lost to Arrogate 2 back and Dalmore prior. He’s a better fit at this level. Won only start here at LRC.

A) 1,2,3
B) 4,5
C) 6

You can get Kentucky Downs, Los Alamitos and Canterbury Park for 9/15/16 by going to the link in the signature below

LRC 9/15/16 R1 MDN CLM 50K, 5.5F DIRT (2:00)

1 BRANJAMMAS QUATRO 2-1
3 ENTER THE CODE 6-5
2 MOSTLY CLOUDY 8-1
5 IRON CURTAIN 4-1

PICK: 1 BRANJAMMAS QUATRO (2-1)
Eurton doesn’t win with first timers all that often but he had a very similar firster crush here last week. It was a 2YO with a similar worktab, same rider for same owners. Has a nice drill on 8/29 at Del Mar. Eurton 5 of 8 in money here. Bred to sprint and win early.

VALUE: 2 MOSTLY CLOUDY (8-1)
Walsh is 2 for 17 (12%) with debut maiden claimers with 7 in the money (41%). She’s had a firster here run 3rd at this meet with Pedroza up. He is a half to Glory Bound, who won 142k and was 2 for 6 as a two-year old.

A) 1
B) 2,3
C) 4,5

LRC 9/16/16 R1 CLM 6K, 5.5F DIRT (2:00)

5 IRISH AND LUCKY 3-1
3 MUDGE 5-2
4 AMBERELLA 2-1
1 PUBLIC HOUSE 4-1

PICK: 5 IRISH AND LUCKY (3-1)
She’s been a course specialist with 3 wins in 5 starts when facing LRC foes. Comes out of a race where 3 runners won in their next start. She has speed but can rate just off of the early going which will come in handy in this spot. 3 wins in 8 starts at this distance.

VALUE: 3 MUDGE (5-2)
She won 2 of her 4 starts here and was last seen showing good speed vs better foes at Del Mar. Don’t think rolling to the lead is the spot she wants to be. She’ll sit off the pace in this spot and could be the strongest late.

A) 3,5
B) 4
C) 1

LRC 9/17/16 R3 CLM 16K, 5.5F DIRT (2:58)

5 COYOTE FLY 2-1
3 MOOSE SKOWRON 5-1
4 LOOK TWICE 5-2
6 BLACK TORNADO 5-1

PICK: 5 COYOTE FLY (2-1)
Claimed from his last start which was not a very good one. Laid off over a month and he has come back with a solid worktab. He has 3 wins in his past 6 starts so when he feels like running, he can be pretty good. He’s 2 for 2 here when with Ellis. Guessing game.

VALUE: 3 MOOSE SKOWRON (5-1)
He’s shown the ability to rate off the speed and that might come in handy in this speed laden spot. 3rd from his last start came back to win here for 12k claiming (n2l). 2nd place came back to run 3rd in open 16k claiming.

A) 3,5
B) 4,6
C) 1

Full card reports for Parx (a 2 page report), Belmont, Los Alamitos and the top 9 Best Bets are available at the link in the signature below

LRC 9/24/16 R4 MDN CLM 20K, 6F DIRT (3:28)

5 STAR AT THE BAR 10-1
3 JEOFFIE 5-1
2 MADERA JUBILEE 10-1
6 IMMUNITY IDOL 5-2

PICK: 5 STAR AT THE BAR (10-1)
Only have to look at the Beyer to know how quick that race was. Winner was a first timer who ran off and hid. This one was last but it was a tough spot for her to make her debut. Most of the field was running in either MSW or high maiden clm. Drop will help. Rider stays aboard.

VALUE: 2 MADERA JUBILEE (10-1)
She was less than length back of one to her outside in the race two back. Notice the poor post positions she has drawn 6 straight. She does tend to break quickly and this inner post will help. Should fit in this weak field. Use her in the exotics.

A) 5
B) 2,3,6
C) 4,8

Two-page Remington Park full card analysis report (Oklahoma Derby Day), Los Al and Belmont. Click the link in the signature.

LRC 9/25/16 R3 CLM 6K, 5F DIRT (2:58)

4 L.A. MAGIC 2-1
7 EBONY CAT 7-2
2 OLEANDERPOLARBEAR 15-1
6 IRISH AND LUCKY 5-2

PICK: 4 L.A. MAGIC (2-1)
She has been a run-off in the early going in most of her career but really like how she rated in the last two. Key race two back as all 5 runners who ran back hit the exacta. It included Mudge, who won and beat the 2nd fav here. Standout from a pace perspective.

VALUE: 2 OLEANDERPOLARBEAR (15-1)
Thought she deserved a look in last but got away in poor fashion, rushed up and was 5 wide into the turn and tired in the same as the top choice came out of. Notice she beat Gold Journey two back and she came back to run 3rd to LA Magic. Will sit a trip in here.

A) 4
B) 2,7
C) 6,8

SA 9/30/16 R1 OPT CLM 40K, 6.5F TURF (1:00)

5 BLAMEITONTHELAW 6-1
7 ACCEPTANCE 12-1
10 BANZE NO OESTE 20-1
9 TRIBAL FIGHTER 4-1

PICK: 5 BLAMEITONTHELAW (6-1)
Makes his first start on the turf after a very decent run off the layoff. 2nd place finisher came back to win by 6 at LRC with a 99 Beyer. Blame is an excellent turf influence and the dam was 1 for 1 on turf (5F stakes win). Stalks the pace.

VALUE: 7 ACCEPTANCE (12-1)
Sure looked like something at two but he didn’t follow that up after the break. He’s working strongly for his comeback and note both of his best efforts came first off the shelf. Comes back running.

A) 5,7,10
B) 6,9,11
C) 2,3,4

Will have full card analysis (2 page reports) for Santa Anita, Belmont and Churchill Downs for Saturday. Click on the link in the signature below.

SA 10/1/16 R1 MSW 52K, 1M TURF (12:30)

6 WHISKY N ROSES 20-1
1 COLONEL SAMSEN 7-2
3 ARCH PRINCE 8-1
8 SWINGING STAR 12-1

PICK: 6 WHISKY N ROSES (20-1)
Debut nothing more than a prep for turf route. Cassidy trained the dam who was a bad last in her debut, a DMR dirt sprint and next went a mile on SA turf, ran 2nd at 20-1. She was a turf stakes winner. Sib, Maxx the Giant, is only turf. Tough race but don’t overlook him on his preferred surface at boxcar odds.

VALUE: 3 ARCH PRINCE (8-1)
Off slow in the debut but showed something when a very good 4th beaten just 4. Connections thought he was worthy a shot in a stakes and split a very decent field at 56-1. He drew the rail and now gets a better post today. 2 sharp works since last. Toss in exotics.

A) 1,3,6,8,11
B) 2,5
C) 7,9,10,12

SA 10/2/16 R4 MSW 52K, 1M 1/8 TURF (3:36)

11 UBER STAR 12-1
2 WESTWOOD’S WIZARD 9-2
1 DARK ENERGY 3-1
9 PAPPOU 8-1

PICK: 11 UBER STAR (12-1)
Unlucky to draw a wide post again. The race he exits was dominated by those who were forwardly placed. Slow pace two back cost him better when 2 back of a runner who was 2nd in the G1 Wood Memorial. Dam is a half to $3M winner Escena (won 200k on turf). Needs pace.

VALUE: 2 WESTWOOD’S WIZARD (9-2)
Hung in for a long time in the common race won by a NY shipper who looked best on paper. Draws closer to the rail in here and should be tracking the pace again. Stumbled 2 back. Baze stays up.

A) 1,2,11
B) 3,5,9
C) 4,10

Free full card analysis sheet for Indiana for Wed at the link in the signature below

IND 10/5/16 R3 CLM 5K, 1M DIRT (3:01)

4 MALLEABLE 8-1
6 MESETA DIABLO 7-5
5 APOSTLE PAUL 4-1
3 SHORTY TOWN 10-1

PICK: 4 MALLEABLE (8-1)
Broke through when given some class relief last time out. Pretty strong race at CD two back. 2nd returned to win 10k claimer here at IND. 3rd was runner-up in that race. 5th won a turf race at ELP for a 7k tag. Castanon was aboard for both of his wins. Should get good trip.

VALUE: 3 SHORTY TOWN (10-1)
Ran well on the dirt vs better when at CD 4 and 5 back. Hasn’t shown much in the lane in the two starts for the new trainer. Has speed, may get pressure. Ran his career best in his last dirt race.

A) 4,6
B) 3,5
C) 2,7,10

SA 10/6/16 R1 OPT CLM 50K, 6F DIRT (1:00)

5 VAI 4-5
3 START TO FINISH 4-1
2 SHARI 8-1
4 CASH PRIZE 3-1

PICK: 5 VAI (4-5)
Glatt was only 1 for 18 with 2YO 1sters in MSW before this one crushed at 8-1 at Del Mar. Really liked how she came into that race and she was never really in doubt. Runner-up came back to run 3rd by less than a length at 9-1 here in a MSW. 3 solid drills since her debut win.

VALUE: 2 SHARI (8-1)
Shipper from Northern California was a well-beaten 4th in a stakes in last. That winner beat her in the debut and this filly was much closer to her there. Has a bullet work since last. Might fit here.

A) 5
B) 2,3,4
C) 1

SA 10/7/16 R1 CLM 16K, 6F DIRT (1:00)

6 HYE I’M JACK 3-1
7 LOUDEN’S GRAY 5-2
2 CAPTAIN AKERS 5-1
3 LAMBO LUXX 4-1

PICK: 6 HYE I’M JACK (3-1)
Really had little chance on the move up to the opt 40k no conditioned allw last time out. That field was too strong and he expectedly faded out after showing speed while wide. He’s been in the top 3 in 5 of 7 starts at SA. Both wins came at the distance. Fires on the class drop.

VALUE: 2 CAPTAIN AKERS (5-1)
There aren’t any in this race who have to have the lead and that could open it up for this one to control it early. Back in 7 days after a pop and stop vs higher company. Trainer can win at long odds.

A) 6
B) 2,3,7
C) 1,4,5

SA 10/8/16 R5 SWINGTIME 70K, 1M TURF (2:30)

2 INTO THE MYSTIC 5-1
1 QUEEN OF THE SAND 9-2
8 CURLIN’S FOX 4-1
9 PRIZE EXHIBIT 3-1

PICK: 2 INTO THE MYSTIC (5-1)
First start in the US was excellent. The runner-up got a perfect trip, had a big jump on this one, was traveling nicely and this filly ran her down late. Ran 2nd to Usherette 6 starts ago. That filly won G2 Cambridge at Ascot. She beat the G1 winner, Miss Temple City, in there.

VALUE: 1 QUEEN OF THE SAND (9-2)
Think she’ll get the kind of pace she’ll need to make a late run. Pace was a bit on the slow side in last two starts and she was hindered by that. 7 for 9 in the top two at the distance. Saves ground.

A) 2
B) 1,8,9
C) 4,5,7

SA 10/9/16 R3 MSW 52K, 6F DIRT (1:30)

3 KING’S PALACE 4-1
7 ADMIRAL’S CLUB 15-1
1 HOT RODIN 5-2
2 MY UNCLE AL 8-5

PICK: 3 KING’S PALACE (4-1)
Not a ton to hang your hat on with this first timer. The trainer is 0 for 11 with a couple of close calls with 1sters (one 3rd by a neck for this ownership ridden by Kent D). Has a turfy pedigree but the sire did earn a 101 Beyer sprinting on dirt. Decent worktab prepping for this.

VALUE: 7 ADMIRAL’S CLUB (15-1)
Worked well since last and did so with G1 winner What a View in the work two back. Has excuses in both starts (note was bet in debut). 5th beaten 14 in last Pee Wee Reese, beat many here today.

A) 3,7
B) 1,2
C) 4,5,6
