After a long draft last night, I left the handicapping till this am. Playing 2 tracks with 1 pick per race and not 2 for win like I used to do. Seeing how it goes today. Good luck all!

Morning Mark,
I’m about 3 miles from Tampa Bay Downs. We’ve had steady rain since 3 am. Track is gonna be sloppy early and everything is coming off the turf.
Wasn’t sure if that was factored into your cappin but figured I’d let you know

If he didn't factor that in his handicapping, it will certainly factor in mine! Thanks for the heads-up. That's the bad news. The good news, at least for some, is that Tampa Bay Downs will be racing until May 30 with a recently approved extension.

Bad fave #8 scratched in race #1 BOOOO....Before the scratch the #6 went from 7-1 to 4-1 at the gate and is now 2-1

Very late Jockey change on the in Race 2.
Switch from Garcia (8% last 14d) to Mena (29% last 14d).
Mena was on the hard closing  in the first. Pretty gutsy ride in what I'm sure aren't fun conditions.
Owner/Trainer who has decent metrics on dropping 2+ classes and switching from turf to dirt...which was the setup that broke maiden.
