5 of 5 paid 2259.55 for .50 cents and your 2nd pick in the only race missed ran 2nd by a head. Can't get much closer.

Part of the PLATINUM program is a rating called
TURF BLAST. I've never checked nor tested it since
the original installation-but I do know one of the top three is often among the winners.
I should have done this long ago--but better late than never.

Speaking of the hottest software currently available----just missed hitting them all @ Evd.
*I just missed hitting the pick-6---which paid just under 100K.........or maybe less

The good news is if you played all the pick 3's and pick 4's, you still made a profit.

True, Jay....it seems to happen that way quite a bit.
I posted Ellis Park Tip Sheet on my website this AM. That was a very hittable pick 5 right there (not to mention the p-4's, etc)
The results from the testing of the TURF BLAST rating in PLATINUM:
Disappointing, to say the least...."pathetic" probably is a better word.
BTR

Take any assorted un-'capped horses ---at generally top-half-of the-field prices....picked at random ...and 80% of the time you'll do better.
I'll save this for the archives, in case anyone ever asks.

consensus LAD
Consensus had 6 winners on the 7 race card again today, seems to be the norm.

Saratoga's 1-2-3 plays--look like there may be a few "live" ones in the bunch.

Where did you find that horse. I did Pony Pickers and Best 5 yesterday because I wanted the form, but neither of them came up with that horse. I do every button on both systems.

Greg Have you ever kept track of the single plays in exotics under the consensus? So to clarify, when you do the exotics consensus and only on horse comes up, what rate do they hit at an profit. Was just wondering. Thanks

I find consensus best when using all 3 horses like for doubles and pick-3,4 type bets. If you want a stand alone single horse you are best using 123 or Best 3. Still you have to filter these to win overall, you can't just bet all of them. I usually throw out maidens, usually the obvious winner is to chalky. I am showing the best results on conditioned races, NW2, NW3 and state bred. Most of the time the open races are too wide open meaning a number of horses could win them. This is another example of why you must keep records to see what kind of races you are doing best on .

I have been working all week on PP and Best 5 trying to find a way that I am happy with playing them. I just play to win. I was doing combinations. I got good percentage, over 30%, on what I was doing but loss money on all but one of them. The one I didn't loss on had the worst percentage, 21%. So now I am going back through and throwing out everything under 3-1, think it should have been 2-1. Will see how that works. Getting ready for when DM ends. I don't have exotics, but when Greg posts them, it seems like the single horses in consensus hit a good percentage of the time.
