City of Canandaigua discusses option of making Canandaigua a sanctuary city

Whether or not to make Canandaigua a sanctuary city was discussed Tuesday night by the City’s board.
No decision was made at the meeting, but they did note it’s hard to find a solution to the issue.
The mayor and the police chief were both in the meeting, and the chief was adamant there is not a formal policy in place and there isn’t a need for one because, according to him, illegal immigration is not a big problem in the city.

Maybe what the country needs is volunteers to welcome illegal families into their homes. I am sure many lib minded would jump at the opportunity with open arms.

I only have room in my home for stray cats that show up on my doorstep. My neighbors, though, include two Mexican families behind me and "Cuban Joe" across the street. I don't know or care about their immigration status and they seem to be doing quite well working hard on the big horse farms around here.
Nobody seems to care about illegals in this area, because most of them are hard workers without whom the local equine industry would die.

Just heard a dem Senator say that bussing to sanctuary cities would be illegal because there are no funds legislated for it ... so how do they get to where they currently dump them?

So why do you think the political leaders who have been advocating for open borders, sanctuary cities and states, and the eradication of I.C.E. are so against, these hard working, no illegal human beings being escorted to these safe havens from I.C.E. and enforcement of Federal immigration law?

because then they would have to legislate a solution rather than have it as their campaign mantra for the next election(s).... why do their main jobs when it is more fun doing investigations?

But there is a lot of horse property around the San Francisco bay area, so the no illegal human workers should be welcomed, just like in Ocala Mike's area.
