yes, I hit the early pick 5. I singled Kershaw and Kochees and spread a bit around those ones. I really needed to beat the Baffert 2yo to make real money.
Saratoga is killing me man, probably cost me two qualifiers (its always hard to say cause you dont know what it cost others as well). I made $12 on 5 races, not going to get it done.

What I don't know about pedigree's is alot.
What about grass for #8 Forloveofcountry in the 10th race on Saturday?
His line is Sky Mesa (Pulpit) - Patriot Miss (Quiet American)
Thanks

I guess his pedigree was good for the grass.

Fly to Mars killed me. I ran second. I thought Smith could have given a better effort. That's the way it goes.

Bet a few buck. Nothing huge. 1st route, 1st turf is not the kind I unload on. Had I played the Tourney I probably would have ended up show a 2 or 3k profit.
Not horrible but a looooong way from the leader at $27,000.
Good luck to all the players on day 2!

4th with a trip, but 2/1? What the heck.
I had the 8-1 exacta so that was painful to watch.
I will update ROI after a few more bets on Wed or Thurs.

I thought he was a horrible 2-1. I knew his Oaklawn races were a bit deceptive. Not that they weren't representative of his abilities but that he wasn't nearly quick enough to hang early with So. Cal 5/8ths turf sprinters. Played out that way.
