DUNCASTLE (LS) ran a game race going a mile on turf here last September when he stumbled at the start, then made a bold move to go from 9th to the lead before excusably weakening late while losing by less than four lengths. He made a middle-move going 6 furlongs on turf in last and now drops back into a maiden claiming race for this second start off a layoff, stretches back out, and gets a key rider change to Castellano.
