Nobody talks much about this anymore...
I did sit in with Bill and watched him work it.....
Its a nice program that you can learn lots of stuff with it...
Right off the bat , you have years of back data to work with ...
The big Commercial software on here gives to about a month back data unless you buy more at a steep price for a years worth . So your stuck for a few months till you build up the database
Researching and building Angles was easy after watching his many tutorials
another big plus as the other guys are not up to par on this...
And theres the price ...$50 per month or 500 for the year....Half of what the other guys go for....
IMO ...a great way to start off and just might be your goto for a while

It was a pleasure showing you the features of BetMix.
You are and will always be a good friend of mine.
It was a great tool and I enjoyed using it for quite a while
However, I am no longer using BetMix. I found that in my situation and for my purposes, It was no longer the progressive tool that it was initially meant to be.
When the Stronach group bought BetMix it appeared to me that the focus of BetMix was now dedicated towards the improvement and creation of a it's tote board and wagering app. This was very understandable to me. because like everything else, it's all about the money
As far as I was concerned, promises of adding new features such as auto creation of mixes and an improved long-shot module never happened. In fact and as far as I know, nothing much has been done for the past couple of years to further enhance the app.
I recently reached out to Dave Williams and also tried to call him to ask him what possible features, if any, would be added to BetMix and got no response. It was my hope that there would be something that would cause me to re-subscribe but his inaction caused me to look elsewhere. Happily, I tried Stats Race Lens and with their frequent promotions, I was prompted to subscribe for a full year. For those that are unfamiliar with Stats Race Lens, they are part of Equibase, the sole supplier to all of the other data suppliers currently offering data products to the horse racing public. Who else would have the best and most accurate numbers available? Just the Stats Race Lens racing form format where the user can adapt the racing form to there own specifications and their adaptable True Odds Module is well worth the subscription price. You also have the ability to create spot plays and angles which appear in various places and notify you as they occur. I also appreciate There friendly, helpful and courteous customer service. There are many instructional videos and assistance when needed from experts such as Ellis Starr (Ubercapper) who is a member of this site.
It's all there for the serious player.

Hi Frank,
I'm not taking away anything from BetMix. It's a good app.
I know you do very well with it.
However, It's just not progressive and consistent enough for me.
The work needed for me to achieve the meaningful result I wished to accomplish was more then I wished to expend . Plainly speaking, It was not worth the effort. I find that Stats Race Lens is a far better mousetrap.
Of course, I respect your opinion. If you are happy with what you are using, then by all means, keep on using it.

Been posting my Spot Plays this week to show that well thought out systems can be created...

Thanks for the kind words. BTW It's just Race Lens now as the partnership with STATS ended earlier this year.

Was not aware of that change. I returned to Race Lens in June, but haven't noticed anything dramatically different so far. Going forward, will it be just a "legacy" product, without further development?

today looked at free race and it was still yesterday's but it was SAR 7.

There are plans for development, based on customer suggestions over the past year or so as well as using some of the metrics GPS can provide (not necessarily but possibly - MPH, Stride Length, Stride Frequency, etc..). If you have suggestions send to racelensfeedback@equibase.com
