Equibase site
I have been to other sites on my computer but I find that Equibase literally crawls like a snail - anyone else have problems like this with Equibase ??

Probably thousands of people logged on and still trying to find something there, or their way out!

The site is unsafe for browsing. I saw someone's analysis how insecure the site is and how lackadaisical Equibase is about securing their users information.
Just a while ago I got a fake Firefox update from their website and yes their site was crawling because it's likely compromised.

Thursday I went there on my phone to get results and a virus overtook it, nothing too major but that should not happen. Definitely have antivirus up to date and adaware.

Never leave equibase open for too long. Get in, get what you need, and get out.

I don’t have a problem with it whatsoever.
For starters, you should be using AdBlock and Ghostery when browsing the internet. AdBlock is self-explanatory, it eliminates ads, banners, pop-ups, tracking, and malware. Ghostery detects and blocks tracking technologies to speed up page loads, eliminate clutter and protects your data. Both programs can be set-up to your individual wants and needs.
Everything you do on the internet is being tracked in one form or another, even on Pace Advantage, these programs eliminate that altogether. It makes a big difference when browsing.
And yes, your antivirus should always be up to date.

Fake firefox update? Sounds like your system may already be compromised...I've never seen any sort of "fake update" and I'm on Equibase all the time, on multiple systems...
Just because you see some sort of malware pop up while on a certain site, doesn't necessarily mean it came from THAT site...

No, it came from Equibase site. It's a page redirect prompting you to download an update which is a virus with an .ISO extension.
If you care to look at Andy Asaro twitter account, he has a post which points out how vulnerable and irresponsible Equibase is.

I get Equibase redirects on my laptop but not on my desktop.
