According to the article, Monmouth's hold was 11.4%, which my limited understanding of sports betting suggests is not sustainable. Total handle for the state was $16.4 million for 17 days. Monmouth did $8.2 during that period.

that was for 17 days. 1,000,000 a day.
on line wagering will increase the handle.
william hill runs sports books in Nevada and know what they are doing.

Many people were pissed at the vigs on today's baseball games. Better odds were being offered at Monmouth.

None of what the online piece or all of it? When Monmouth Park was asked by TDN how much went to the horsemen, through its spokesman Luicci the track said "no comment".

Only sw bets taken at the track result in a revenue stream for the horseman. As I said great deal for the horseman and a better deal for Drazins group.

FanDuel has zero experience running a sports book. Will hill will eat them for lunch with those vigs.

The ink isn't even dry on the high court's decision-form yet...how much could this bettor have won?
