Lindsey Graham and Cory Booker will be the standout performances.
Finally, Mitch the Turtle will call the vote.
Eventually ... Flake will vote "no" and Manchin will follow suit.
And that'll be that.

Collins is essentially dead-woman-walking at this point so... I would assume she just votes her conscience. Whatever that is.
Like I said having a statement about having a statement is very, very weird. This is going to be her Alamo no matter what she decides.

He certainly can if Trump keeps dragging the country to the left on issues his state cares about.

Don't be so hard on the Repugs, Andy.
Many of them can't help the way they are.
Really, they are more to be pitied than blamed.

Tom, there is no reason to insult Senator Graham like that!

She was not elected to vote her conscience, she was elected to represent the will of her constituents.

I can't wait until the next DEMOCRAT president tries to nominate a justice. The bar has been reset and I only hope I live long enough to see it.
But now we have years of social media, chat rooms, tweets, etc, to go through.

Her constituents have made it very clear she votes Yes and she is going to lose her re-election. Maine has a huge independent mostly libertarian voter base.
She votes no and she is going to lose a primary challenge to a Trump backed LePage.
Its her Alamo.
I have no idea what she will decide but that's what this 3pm decision is for her.

You would have thought the d's learned a lesson about karma that what you cast upon the waters comes back to you. The Biden rule came back to bite them in their collective asses, the nuclear option came back to bite them in their collective asses and now they cast out into the waters, the politics of personal destruction through the abuse of the fundamental principles of justice for all.
I guess they will learn another hard lesson about craving power above justice.

If she is going to lose her primary, due to a nay vote, to the President's backed candidate, that is good evidence she is not representing her constituency.

You mean when Mitch told Obama thanks but no thanks for 9 months?!?!
I give Mitch props for that move but we really aren't in a position to fingerpoint here...

She's survived in that state by being a Pro-Choice Republican. Her constituents aren't a fan of Kavanaugh. Rock meet hard place.
