We may be getting into the weeds here but Medicare Part A is hospitalization and Medicare Part B is the companion with a $250 something deductible and a 80/20 plan.

Bernie Sanders must not understand his plan then, because he said a family of 4 would no longer need a $26K a year health insurance plan .... so with his plan they would pay more taxes but only need a $10K a year supplemental health plan?

Bernie Sanders is calling for Universal Health Care boss...
Might wanna do some reading.
Quote:
So, how will universal healthcare be different?
We will no longer be paying for CEO bonuses or other instances of company profit. There is no profit motive in a public healthcare system.
Just as programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are part of a greater social safety net that, taken collectively, work to reduce structural poverty, so is universal healthcare.

Supplemental insurance -- called Medi-Gap by some-- covers the 20% of Part B that is not cover by Medicare. It's a separate out-of-pocket insurance policy supplement. Part D is for subscription drugs and is also a separate insurance supplement.
Arguing what medicare for all means is silly because those candidates who call for it are not telling people they are really advocating for total government sponsored single payer insurance. As what happened under Obama, the Democrats will depend on the stupidity of the American people to be confused and ignorant of the terms health 'insurance' and health 'care'.
Under a medicare for all system, all those with private insurance through their jobs or their own pocketbook will lose it. We all will be required and dependent on the government for your health care and god forbid if you are not a member of a preferred voting demographic.

You mean the "American people" that elected Trump?
You are the one calling the American people ignorant.

Actually it's the discredited Trump bashers and common sense deniers that are the ignorant ones if you insist that I name names.
Some on here simply don't know that Congress actually makes the laws, etc., and these fools refuse to accept the fact that the establishment GOP is owned, bought and corrupted by the very forces such as the Fortune 500 globalists that want open borders and government run health care, among other misdeeds such as trade deals that sold out the American worker and outsourced millions of jobs under this lie called 'free' trade.
It is the same GOP leadership that stopped Trump on matters such as repeal and replace ObamaCare, border security and immigration and tax reform, the latter battle won by Trump. You can thank the not-dead-enough John McCain and the truly ignorant duo of Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan for all these 'Trump' failures. It is they who put a road block in front Trump.
Thankfully for the USA, a lot will change in 2020. For starters, Trump wins over 65-68 million people this time and increases his 2016 majority of Electoral college votes too.
Time will now move on, but sadly, stupidity will still reign supreme in DC, the media, and on many social media sites.
But keep trying. All is lost to way too many on here.

To think that the congress has accomplished anything good of any substance in decades is a lack of reality.
Both parties are 100% worthless.
Their reason fro being in office is NOT to serve the people but rather to get all they can get out the situation. All of them, both parties, both houses.
Alcatraz has a classier alumni than the Capital.
If they ever find those three guys who escaped, we should talk them into running.
