The FormGuide option (the other option is the SpeedMap) under SpeedPro produced by external vendors of HKG Jockey Club contains information as to to how wide a horse was around each turn in its prior races. It's great information but the formatting is clunky (by intent?) and while it's not particularly hard to scrape, getting it into 'reusable' data format is going to take a little time. .

Race 1 - #2 Nice Birdie - impressive 2 back but didn't fire last out - on him again
#6 Regency Happy Star - number of bad trips - gets the hired gun today
#4 Big Two

Race 3 - #2 Superb Move -- another one coming off bad trips
#7 Medic Elite - always runs, seldom wins, gets the hired gun (+ odds)
#6 Happy Jai Jai - improved race, won his trial - coming around

Race 4 - #3 Travel Golf - in spite of the jock
#1 Beauty Infinity - hired guns goes up

#6 Super Joy N Fun - newcomer - 3 trials - wire to wire 1st 2 - closed well 3rd

Race 5 - #7 Kasa Papa - improved effort but rail run - won his trial

Today's weather in Hong Kong 57 degrees cloudy with very little wind to worry about. With Bowman back looking for a big day for him, it usually happens the first day he returns from injuries or days.

Race 1
Going to try and beat the luke warm favourite Romantic Fantasy after he just holding on in his last against a closer while getting a perfect lone speed setting a very slow pace and breaking from an outside post with a short run to the first turn.
Even though he's winless at Sha Tin, like 8-1 on Total Power breaking from the three post with his comfort at this class level and with Hall having extremely profitable meet so far with Bowman. Going to have to catch Purton who's breaking from the rail after getting two outside post in his previous races.

The one that looks a little interesting is , Forever Folks, held up a good part of the stretch last race. Problem is he had a perfect inside trip to that point and he didn't really accelerate when he finally got clear. Going to watch him, as I'm trying to cut back on the number of races I play.

Race 2
A field with no speed, the and were all given top fitness ratings on the SpeedPRO charts and Purton choosing to get back on the Atullibigdeal instead of Sweet Encounter which ran a game second after a three wide trip from the 13 post. Super Sunny Sing has been a little disappointing so far this year after winning the Hong Kong Classic Cup last year, gets a break in the draw after encountering trouble out of the gates in his last two. Hoping the drop in class and his back class gets him right at 5-1.

I like the , as well. Supposed to win off the brutal trip last out. & with him in exotics. The clowns on the show keep on about the 6 being on the wrong part of the track last time out. There was a bias on 2/12 but not for the last few races.
