So when Trump is acquitted, will he get interest on his $175 million?

i think he bought a bond to post up. the money he put up for the bond is gone, but not forgotten. more than likely, this particular case will either be dismissed or the award lowered at some point. the state must have spent between $5 million and $10 million to bring the case, and the case WAS politically motivated, no doubt. on the other side of the coin, Trump got to claim victim and the case brought him more publicity than $10 billion would have brought. he probably should have just settled the case earlier, but he played his hand to the fullest.

Do you mean the appeal will be dismissed? Trump will not stop until the bogus conviction is overturned or the supreme court upholds it, which is highly unlikely.

the judgement should be overturned or cut way back. there shouldn't have even been a civil case in this matter. the case almost qualities for a countersuit, but it was the government on the other side of this and i don't think they can be sued in New York State.

most of the investing into Truth Social was done over a year ago in DWAC, that was a SPAC.

i remember Marjorie Taylor Greene selling off her other winning stocks to buy DWAC. i haven't seen any filings yet of her selling those shares. but even if she didn't she is still way ahead on Truth Social.

That scumbag killed was behind many attacks on our troops in the area.
Why did WE not take him out?

Biden ALLOWED the attacks to continue, and the sniveling coward he his he was right there telling Iran we had no part in it.

Mommy, moomy, JIHNNY DID IT, NOT ME."
What a disgrace.

BIDEN PUTS ILLEGALS AHEAD OF TAXPAYERS AND VOTES AHEAD OF OUR TROOPS.

TREASON.

Trump lost this case via a summary judgement. the lawyers representing Trump to put it mildly, did a rotten job and acted like they were in the bag for the state. if this case had gone to a jury with any half-assed legal representation, Trump would have never lost this decision. with what this judge was presented he had no choice but to grant an award to the state, the ridiculous amount is surely questionable. When the case goes upstairs, it probably will be overturned on a legal basis, with better lawyers arguing the case.
