R1 Del Mar
Whiskey Ginger
'stabbable' off his lone Del Mar race in a short field that could suffer a pace meltdown. Track is speed favoring thus the outlasting the is the logical outcome.

I like same horses as you do.
(robert)
combined with LDH's 6, would have made a nice exacta. I only had the win on

So now I'd prefer 1,2,5,or 6.
Not crazy about the 9 but I covered him.

I'm apprehensive to trust the Los Al form (of the fav ), especially last-race wins when it comes to value.
really looks like an oil painting for Doug O'Neill
is another option

R2 Del Mar
Discatsonthesquare
Yep. 2 for 23 lifetime running her 1st career race as an 8YO off a 247 day layoff. Toss in a 5% trainer for 90+ days away and Gary Stevens smoking away at 7% this meet. Got you all hot and sweaty to wager on this 5/1 or so 2nd or 3rd near favorite, right?
This is one weird field. is logical with the same class drop as the , and they've both been working well off the bench.
If I'm really looking to take a shot at something though, the makes a lot of sense. 3YO facing elders for the first time off the serious bench after busting her maiden, and not up for a tag. Maybe the can sneak away and wire this rather ho-hum field?

Overnight rain again at Saratoga tonight. If the radar is right, heavy rain tonight. Clearing/Cloudy at 8 am, and no rain until late in the afternoon.
They were off - turf today, excpet the 9th race feature. There's 3 quality turf races in the first 5.
Later, The Test Stakes looks interesting. The Whitney looks like a bag-job to get a NY bred a G1 win.
2003 Test Stakes: Carson Hollow v You. One of my favorite races all time. Mononomy Girl and Wonder Gadot remind me of those two.
