FANTASY MILLIONAIRE WEEK 2: Thoughts, suggestions, discussion

For week two I am open to the following:

1) New members

2) Another wager choice instead of Doubles

3) A new track

4) A new maximum total per race.

5) Do not have to play all races

Things I would like to remain as is:

1) $100 base wagers

2) Everyone bets the same max total

3) Everyone plays same track

These three items make it much easier for me to calculate.

Any thoughts?

Thougths

I don't mind a different track but I think there is some wisdom to staying with a particular track for a while so as to get used to how that track plays.

I don't mind different plays but I feel we would have more fun if we all did the same play (s)on the same race. Ow the only thing we'd have in common is the track and the day. One way might be to play rolling doubles up to a late P4 then take say 50% of our total BR we built thus far and play it on the P4. To do that everyone submits ABCD for each race. Find the race where we have the most agreement on a and b then play that race with that ab. Then use a consensus formula (7 pts A, 5 pts B, 3 pts C and 1pt D)and play the top 3 on the other races using that formula. That would be 54 units on a pick four. If we had $27,000 in the br it would be a $500 P4 which could hit over $$MIL very conceivably.

I'm ok skipping a race or two but since this is for fun, I wouldn't want to skip most races. I'd want to agree on what we would skip up front.

New members, sure.

I'd vote GP again but am I'm down for whatever.

OK....how's this sound?

Races 1-8, submit two 3x3 doubles for $100 each. That will total $1800 per member each race.

Races 9-12, submit your A,B,C,D,E for each race. We will go by consensus and construct a $100 pick four 4x3x3x3.

Sounds great. Sticking with GP on Sat or did you have another track in mind?

GP

Nope GP has 12 races. TRD jipped me and only gave sheets through the 11th.

BTW. I tried Equibase 'On Target Performance' today and didn't get anything right. Don't think I like it much.
