I swear to god I recall Trump had a deal to lower Insulin cost to what was it like 25 bucks... then Ole Joe pulled his poison pen out and stabbed it... causing prices to rise. And now he's claiming credit for lowering for which his actions raised it. 
As for the theatrics well Briben is batshit crazy.

You’re kinda right, while being mostly wrong. Trump did issue an Executive Order-13937-lowering the cost of insulin for low income persons. But it was not scheduled to take effect until January 21, 2021.
Biden didn’t kill the EO he merely paused it for sixty days while his administration reviewed it. And what they found was it would have placed an onerous administrative burden on small clinics and practices. So they rescinded it.
The Biden cap is much more effective and much more practical. In the first place, it’s enshrined in law. Second, it applies to all seniors, you don’t need to establish eligibility beyond your age. Third, while the law refers only to seniors, Eli Lilly-the largest Insulin producer-has agreed to extend it to all patients.
Next year-after Biden is reelected and Democrats control Congress, the law will be expanded to include everyone.
