Yup that was one of those where you know a horse had a shot if he was right, then he does in fact and you do a 'double-take' at how F'ing low the odds unexpectedly dropped.
R8-R9
I'm gonna do a Double-Take here over both Linda Rice horses (I think the track could be slightly against Hofburg and his price will be 25% lower than it should be do a euphoric, emotional market price today) Nick comes in from Rudolph Brissette for Winstar and Linda would love to have that client happy... small chance he loves the stretch out and has been getting better and better... is a bit soft-hearted but he could inherit a good trip and make Luna change leads and make the closers come and get him. could be holding 'market position' on the far turn.
R8 single race
This is more complex than it looks on the surface.
If I was high-rolling today, this would be an 'ALL' race. No joke. I'm hoping Mojo fires, or my Flowers For Lisa takes over up front..
I put $4 on the grill and I'm hoping for a steak, but this race is deceptively deep. They are ALL contenders. Tempting to play an exacta saver to grab a price in here.
may have peaked in May...
exits a hot pace, keeps improving, hopes for Midas touchup from 28%64%1stAmoss,

Reason: ahh went ahead with the 1,2,3,4,7 over the 45 ... don't overthink a potential price

Canceled that. Rethought Hofburg at 1-2 and early speed of #3 & #5. Tossed both favorites and went this way @$20.

Good 'name' horse , good pace numbers, and fit today's track and possible to benefit if Uncle lost his Mojo...
Alive to for $1 (he usually can't change leads and when he does flattens, but could inherit a good trip)
Alive to for $2 (reasons stated above... If inherits a good trip and wins I'll be happy as a clam at high tide. If introduces himself as a new division player today, happy and satisfy a hunch
If HOFBURG runs big, cheer him on for the Travers Lose a bet but gain a fan.
If ZING ZANG runs 'em all down to get up at the wire... well... that would be tough

That was a great race for a small field. Hofburg is gettin' classier every race.
