because they changed something in the construction. Maybe went from a smooth to a ribbed belt, etc. I've been a mechanic most of my life. Trust me when I tell you that Napa can fit it for you unless it's shredded. If it is, measure the pulley inside the groove out at the widest point. Then if you take a 14ga. extension cored and wrap it around the pulleys you can measure that and that will be your length. the extension cords sit in the pulley's perfectly to get the right measurement.

Thank you. Good to know. It probably would have saved me a few bucks, but by having it delivered I probably saved 45 minutes of time and wear and tear on my car. That's worth something.

I replaced the belt and also replaced the drive cable. The old cable was probably fine (although it did have a slight kink in it where it got crushed when I folded up the handle bars one winter.

It runs well now. So mission accomplished.
